📅 Custom periods, now available to everyone

Custom periods allow you to freely choose the start and end dates of your extractions. They are now compatible with:

• AWS and adjusted AWS KPIs, in all countries that use custom periods;
• time-based extraction (extract type Product × Time), including by day.

How do I read the AWS over a custom period? It is calculated store by store, based on the number of calendar weeks covered by the period:

• Period within a single week: AWS is an average over the selected days (for a single day, it is the average daily sales).
• A period spanning two weeks (e.g., Thursday to Monday) counts as two weeks for stores that sold in each of them. As a result, AWS is lower than for a period of the same length within a single week.
• Total AWS is a weighted average across stores: total quantity (or turnover) divided by the total number of store × week pairs with sales.

💡 Tip: to compare two periods consistently, choose dates with the same calendar-week breakdown in years N and N-1.

📊 A daily analysis of your performance

The new Product × Day format allows you to obtain the daily details of your product performance over a standard or custom period.

To use it: choose the extract type Product × Time, then Time = Day.

Availability: all countries and all brands, including Intermarché France (from October 21).

🏷️ New promo and shelf KPIs, selectable in one click

New indicators are available in the extracts:

• promo/shelf numeric distribution
• promo/shelf weighted distribution
• promo/shelf adjusted AWS

These KPIs help you distinguish promotional performance from regular shelf performance. Find them in the KPI selector of the extraction tool, under the Promotion and Competition sections (market share data is available to organizations with Promotion and Competition access).

To simplify the setup of your extractions, a new Transaction Type filter now allows you to select with a single click:

• Promo KPIs only
• Shelf KPIs only
• Total, promo and shelf KPIs in a single extract

The KPI list adapts automatically to the selected transaction type: the fastest way to find the new promo and shelf KPIs.

🔎 Find your extracts in seconds in the Workspace

No more scrolling through the entire list! The Workspace is getting new tools:

• Search by name: enter a few words in the Name column filter to display only the matching extracts.
• Filters on each column: Status (Failed, In progress, Queued, Completed), Extract type, Period type, Period value, Hierarchy type or Hierarchy.
• Customizable columns: from the Columns panel, show or hide columns as needed.
  

Filters can be combined: for example, search for "brand" in the name and only display extracts with the Completed status.

🚫 Cancel a queued extraction

An extraction started by mistake? No need to wait for it to finish: as long as its status is Queued, you can cancel it using the new ⊘ button, located next to the actions menu in your Workspace. Once canceled, the extraction disappears from the list.

Good to know: once the extraction has started (status: In progress), it can no longer be canceled. If your request arrives too late, a message will let you know.

Other new features

🏪 A new store directory directly accessible from the platform

The store directory allows you to view, filter, and download (CSV or Excel) the list of stores that have recorded sales over the past three years. A breakdown of stores by region, store format and format area is also available. Accessible from the Directories section of the left-hand menu.
